How do you get rid of wild Mallard ducks without killing them??????? They crap all over the place and make me?

A cat wo not do it. I have one. He stalks them, & they just give him dirty looks. We mistakenly let one nest hatch, & now they r here every year - this year the worst.
Tried: ultrasonic pest sounds, motion detector lawn sprinkler ( this they really love) Helium balloons with eyes (worked for about a week) Dummy on a chair. They perched on it. Flags & streamers. Rocks thrown at them. They know we r poor shots. One wild life guy said to kill them if they have large areas of white - bred with domestic ducks - they do not want them to breed more like that. A dog on a short chain may work, but u r just trading poop for poop. We might fill in our pond. We love the Koi, but the duck poop is getting to be a health hazard. Fire crackers? Siren? Boat horn? I'd love to know how. Good luck.

You shouldnt bother them, expecially durring these few months because this is there breeding/mating season. They will stay around those places, Is there water around? Like a pond or creek? If so then there is no getting rid of them. They will go nesting and hatch so you would upset them. If you must because the poo upsets you, then get a dog wil a short chane so he can scare them off but not hurt them.
